School entry test preparation (ages 5 to 16+)
As a recognised associate company working closely with Atom Learning and UKiset, UKschools.com has access to discounted practice resources for our client families, as well as knowledge of independent school entry requirements and the ISEB Pre-tests.

Practice ‘against the clock’
Through timed practice tests, tutors create test conditions for students to gain confidence in answering papers within the set time limit, teaching them to avoid rushing their answers.
Academic subjects
English: Our tutors can support students of any age in all aspects of English language and communication, including speaking and understanding, handwriting (from age 3+), grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and essay writing.
Regular reviews and assessments will identify topics and areas for further improvement, allowing each tutor to adjust their lesson plans accordingly.
Maths, Sciences, History, Economics and Business: Subject tutors are available for all ages and all public exams, including GCSE, ‘A’ level and IB.
School entry test preparation (age 7 – 16+)
Our tutors have an impressive understanding of the requirements and expectations of British independent schools, including English language and other assessment criteria, the interview process, ‘onsite’ days and the co-curricular and sporting interests and abilities of students that go to form much of the entry process.

Interview preparation
Many schools will schedule interviews as part of the entry process. There are no set questions, no set answers and no specific format. The main purpose is to encourage each student to engage with enthusiasm and talk with interest about what they do and things that they find of interest.
Tutors and our directors are all engaged in supporting and guiding students in practice interviews focussing on:
- Dynamic and engaging communication and body language
- Co-curricular sports and interests (eg music, art, dance, debating and much more)
- Showing awareness of current affairs and having an opinion
- Considering the dominating global issues (climate change, conflict)
An enjoyable experience
Our tutors are friendly, experienced and knowledgeable with a primary aim of ensuring that your child’s learning experience is a happy and engaging process, giving them increased confidence in their abilities to understand and apply their learning, whether in school, entrance assessments or exams.
