Let your son or daughter experience an amazing British boarding school, live in a safe and friendly ‘home-from-home’ environment, have a great time making new friends and love the whole opportunity. ## Immersion Programmes An Immersion Programme gives your child a genuinely wonderful experience living as a member of a British boarding school community, for a set period during term time. Unlike summer courses, your child will join real lessons, follow the school's normal timetable and live alongside full-time pupils. Some fantastic schools are offering places to international students ages 7 to 16 years old. We’ll match your child, their academic abilities, interests and character to a school that offers the right duration, age group and available boarding places so that we know your child will be happy and love boarding life, even for a short time! ![Mayfield sports mix](https://ukschools.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Mayfield%20sports%20mix.jpeg?width=1908&height=2000&name=Mayfield%20sports%20mix.jpeg "Mayfield sports mix") Mayfield School ## How long can my child stay? ![Forest School at Highfield School (3)](https://ukschools.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Forest%20School%20at%20Highfield%20School%20(3).jpg?width=1600&height=1067&name=Forest%20School%20at%20Highfield%20School%20(3).jpg) ### 2 – 6 weeks A first taste of boarding life, often arranged within a single term.
